Build your own reverb drum!

Using recycled materials, participants will learn how to make an extremely responsive reverberating instrument with the capacity to generate huge, deep reverberation lasting up to two minutes. This instrument can be played with mallets, bows and fingers and can produce a variety of unique sounds and textures with no need for amplification. Upon completion of this workshop, participants will have a complete instrument and will have gained skills that will enable them to glean maximum resonance from objects and materials as well as an understanding of how most acoustic instruments work.
All materials and tools provided. Although it is recommended that you bring gardening or rigging gloves.
Cost: $45/$30 conc.
Maximum of 7 participants per workshop, places are limited please book early!
